Bio
Oprah is not asking for much, but she would like a family that is fun and not boring. And it would be nice if they would spoil her, too.
The family Oprah really wants would have people who welcome her with open arms.
"Family to me means people that love you and care about you and are willing to take you into their care," she says.
Oprah has been in foster care for most of her life.
Despite personal upheavals, she's a good student. One of her fondest memories is making honor roll at school. "I get honor roll a lot," she boasts.
Her favorite subjects are language arts, gym and computers. She loves to read books, especially Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events," a story about three orphans like herself.
"I like the book because it's just extraordinary," she says. "I can't really explain it, but I like to read it."
Oprah really doesn't listen to hip-hop, but she's an avid gospel music fan. Fred Hammon, Kirk Franklin and "all the good stuff" are on her list. She even sings in her church choir.
If she had a million dollars, Oprah would give half to her church. With the rest, she would get a nice house, a car and a college education.
When she grows up, Oprah wants to become a music producer.
