Bio
Zachary and Harley are two very closely bonded brothers. Like most teenage siblings, they would be hard-pressed to admit that. Their body language, ease with each other and faces that light up when together make their relationship obvious.
Since they entered foster care when they were just a few years old, they have been apart at times, but are presently together.
Harley likes an urban atmosphere, computer games, MySpace, working out and dreams of a future that includes being a police officer or a video game designer. He also has hopes to someday visit Africa on a volunteer basis rather than on a vacation. He feels it is important to contribute when "a lot of people need help."
He has already started his work experience as a Senior Camper (in the Job Experience Training Program) at a camp where he was once just a camper.
Zachary, with his love of science, has had his goal of being an archaeologist since he was 3 years old. He enjoys all aspects of science and nature and can tell you more fascinating information about spiders than you could learn from a nature program. He would someday like to see Antarctica and study the wildlife there.
Zachary likes to see things from literally every angle. Recently, in camp, he found out he could do a perfect handstand and can almost walk on his hands. (The counselor told him it was even better than her own.)
The two brothers have both very compatible and very different personalities. When talking about the car of their dreams, both brothers described a Lamborghini, but Zachary's dream car had an environmental twist - "a very fuel efficient Lamborghini."
