Bio
Dashawn considers himself a ladies man. The key to his charm? "I can't tell my secrets," he says. "A magician don't ever tell his secrets."
There are other secrets Dashawn prefers not to talk about, like the family troubles that landed him in foster care. It's been years since he has seen his mother. If he could have anything in the world, it would be seeing her again, he says.
Dashawn presents himself as a well mannered, intelligent and charming young man. He has goals of becoming a police officer so he can help people.
Dashawn loves sports, especially basketball and football. In basketball, he plays point guard and tries to pass like Jason Kidd and score like Tracy McGrady. In football, he's a running back. But his favorite player is a receiver, Terrell Owens.
Dashawn says that if he doesn't make it as a pro athlete, he would like to become a police officer, so he can help people.
This summer, Dashawn went to the beach for the first time. He liked the waves the best. "I don't surf, I jump in front of the waves," he said.
Dashawn also likes roller skating, especially in the rain, when the streets get slick, making it hard to maneuver. "It's a challenge," he said. "I like a challenge."
Give Dashawn $1 million, and he says he would give it all to his grandmother to thank her for caring for him.
Dashawn very much wants to be adopted and has stated that he wants to be loved. Dashawn deserves a loving, patient family who is really committed to working with him, his therapist and his teachers to assist him with reaching his full potential.
