Quadedra loves to sing, and she might be a star someday. She certainly has a luminous smile. She used to sing with a choir, but she hasn't had a chance recently. Now she just sings for herself.
Quadedra hopes that she will be adopted.
"I'm not looking for another foster family now," she says.
She has been in foster care since she was 7, and all of her siblings have been adopted. She's still waiting for her turn.
"Life in foster care isn't bad, just hurtful sometimes," she says.
Her brother lives in a big mansion with his new family, and she gets to visit sometimes. But she doesn't care what kind of house or apartment her adoptive family might have. She just needs some shelter.
"My dream family might be anybody, just so long as they would care for me," she says.
She enjoys reading and writing, her favorite subjects in school. Quadedra thinks she would like to attend college, and major in music.
"My dreams are being a star, being on an awards show, on TV."
