Bio
For Latif, being a kid in foster care is all he has known. He has an older brother and sister, and keeps in touch with them.
“I have a role model now,” he says about a supervisor at his current placement. “He always helps me, tells me I’m a good kid, with good potential, and that’s what I like to hear.”
Latif feels good about himself, about the good grades he gets is school - Bs, B+s and an A in math - and about playing on the school’s basketball team.
“I love to play football, basketball and chill with the girls,” says Latif. He also writes poetry.
Latif dreams of a family that will stick with him through thick and thin, with parents who are caring and trustworthy, like he is.
He has a dream someday to be a music producer, to work in R&B or rap, but he also wants to study auto mechanics, because he loves to work on cars. He hopes when he’s all grown up he’ll have his own family: a beautiful wife and 2 kids. He thinks he’ll do well, with a stable job and an apartment.
