Being born on July 4th has its perks and pops. "I have fireworks on my birthday," Hamiid says. The rest of the year, he keeps himself entertained by inline skating and playing football and basketball. Sports, he says, help him deal with stress.
Hamiid is well-mannered and affectionate and very curious about the world. His most outstanding quality is that he has a genuine concern to help those who are experiencing difficulty. He will go out of his way to protect others. This sense of caring is unique to Hamiid and he is well-appreciated for this quality.
Hamiid, who has been in foster care since he was a small child, needs loving parents who will help him overcome his shyness. But once you gain his trust, he opens up and reveals his soft side. He smiles a lot too. He needs loving, committed parents who will provide close supervision, and allow contact with his siblings and one-year-old niece.
