Ashley likes school. And not just one subject. She especially likes math, social studies and science.
She hopes to go to college and become a teacher, so that she can teach math to middle-school kids. She simply adores education.
Besides school, Ashley enjoys writing letters, riding horses, playing sports like basketball, kickball and volleyball. She likes playing card games, such as UNO, and enjoys hanging out with friends, not unlike most girls her age.
Ashley, who has been in foster care for about 5 years, describes herself as funny and easy-going.
She admits that she doesn't particularly like doing chores, like sweeping the living room or cleaning the bathroom, but says she will because she's asked to.
If she could go anywhere in the world, she would go to Ohio or Jamaica. When asked what she would do if she was given a million dollars, she immediately began thinking of all the possibilities, like buying houses, cars and other things she would like to own.
