Bio
Melvin is an extremely likeable youngster, who has captured the hearts of his foster family, school staff, and neighbors. Although he requires supervision and assistance to complete most activities at home and school, he does enjoy riding his bicycle, and is fascinated with televised car racing.
Melvin enjoys what most kids do - playing outdoors, watching television, and hanging out with his friends. He likes sports and reading the Bible. Melvin gets along with siblings in his foster homes, and loves mealtime - he particularly likes rice dishes.
Despite his developmental delays, he puts forth earnest effort in school and has made progress in learning in his special education program. He wants to be a part of a family who will love him for who he is. Melvin needs a patient, highly structured family, who will provide him with nurturing and a consistent schedule.
